There’s a few that need to get in some big miles for rides coming up. So a few people are heading out to the Old Dock Ride starting at 7:00 (NOTE NEW START TIME). This is around 65-70 miles so it’s a big day for anyone not used to it. So if you’re coming out, get some rest, bring some food, clean your bike, and bring extra tubes and C02.
For those of you not riding the Old dock ride, 8AM start time.
Leaving at 7 AM at PO and meeting Lenny at Cold Spring Harbor train around 8 to 8:15 ish. Heading to Old Dock.
if anyone is interested, there is an EBR (Early Bird Ride) from the Littleneck Triangle. Currently leaves 5:00 AM on Wednesdays. We go to the Wall and I cut off at Willis on the way back. 37 miles. I easily make the 7:19 train into the city. It is a high intensity, rotating pace line, will avg 21. I leave port at 4:20 to ride to the Triangle. This ride will soon move to Tuesdays and Thursdays.
